Nigerian Catholic priest, Rev Father Chinenye Oluoma has accused the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, of colluding with politicians to rig elections.

He said one would have expected that after spending almost a year on strike, University Professors who were returning officers in the elections, would have ensured that the elections were void of manipulations but the contrary was the case.

The cleric lamented how members of the union would help politicians rig elections and thereafter turn around to complain about the bad condition of public universities.

Oluoma, in a video posted on his verified Facebook page on Monday, said such wrong attitude can keep a nation from entering its promised land, no matter how much the people pray.
