American rapper, Kanye West has tendered his apology to people hurt by his series of anti-semitic comments in the past week. West appeared on Piers Morgan’s Uncensored show which aired on Wednesday where he was called out by the host for targeting the Jewish community with hurtful remarks.
Kogi State has received its first derivation allocation as an oil-producing state. Governor Yahaya Bello disclosed this during the State Executive Council meeting on Thursday, assuring the people of the determination of his administration to continue to record more wins for Kogites. He said the derivation allocation will afford the State government the ability to do more for the people.
The United States has pledged $1 million in immediate humanitarian assistance to support the people affected by unprecedented flooding in Nigeria. The support which will come through the U.S. Agency for International Development, provides emergency shelter assistance, relief commodities, and hygiene kits to promote safe and healthy practices amid the ongoing cholera outbreak, and multipurpose cash assistance for people impacted by the devastating floods.
