There was apprehension on Thursday evening in the Dei Dei area of the Federal Capital Territory after a mob attacked policemen attached to the Gwagwa police division. The policemen numbering about five had gone to rescue a man identified as Mubarak who was almost lynched over an allegation of manhood disappearance.
Five passengers were crushed to death in Sri Lanka on Friday when a large tree fell on a state-run bus in the heart of the capital Colombo, police said.
