This was disclosed in a press statement jointly signed by the state NLC Chairman, Humphrey Nwafor; Secretary, Gaius Chukwuka; TUC Chairman, Chris Ogbonna and Secretary, Alex Ebi, on Monday.

The body said the exercise followed the directive of the national NLC and TUC on the indefinite strike arising from the failure of the Federal Government to meet the demands of organised labour on reasonable national minimum wage, reduction on high electricity tariff on the masses amongst others.

The statement read partly, “We are mandated to direct all affiliate unions chairmen and secretaries to ensure that all their members are mobilised adequately to embark on indefinite strike from Sunday midnight.
