Governor caleb mutfwang Appoints Deborah Akanle to Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission

Governor Caleb Mftwang of Plateau State has appointed Pastor Mrs. Deborah Akanle as a member of the Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission (PLASIEC). Mrs. Akanle’s appointment reflects Governor Mftwang’s commitment to diversity and excellence in governance.

Mrs. Akanle therefore, expressed a deep sense of gratitude to His Excellency, Governor Caleb mutfwang for finding her worthy of this enormous responsibility and assured the Governor of her commitment towards fulfilling his desire for free, fair and transparent elections in Plateau state.

She also extended a heartfelt felicitation to the Chairman of the commission, Mr Plangji Chishak on his appointment as the Honorable Chairman of PLASIEC.

Pastor Mrs. Deborah Akanle brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her new role. Prior to her appointment, she served as a lecturer at the prestigious Kaduna Polytechnic, where she made significant contributions to education and research. Her dedication and passion for service are evident in her previous role as Special Assistant in the government of former governor, Joshua Dariye and as the founder of Help One Person Smile Again (HOPSA) Foundation that has supported many Nigerians over the years.

There is no gain saying, that Mrs. Akanle’s background in academia and public service will be invaluable to the Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission. Her allies and friends are confident that she will bring integrity, professionalism, and dedication to her new position as her extensive experience and proven track record make her a valuable addition to the Commission.
