The United Nations Children’s Fund has ranked Nigeria and Chad the second worst countries where children are at the most risk of climate change.
UNICEF in a report titled ‘Children’s climate risk index’ used data to generate new global evidence on how many children were currently exposed to climate and environmental hazards, shocks and stresses.
It noted that one billion children globally were at risk.
